Scope and responsibility
This Privacy Policy covers information processed throughcadencelab.co, including the Fit Check and any communication that follows. “Cadence Lab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Cadence Lab, an independent customer experience practice led by Matt Rabah.
This policy does not cover websites or services run by other organizations. When this site links to another website, that organization’s privacy policy governs how it handles information.
Information we collect
Information you provide
The Fit Check asks for enough information to understand an operating problem and respond. This may include:
- Your name, work email address, organization, and role
- The customer experience problem and its operating or business impact
- Information about your operating environment, CRM conditions, leadership alignment, and readiness for workflow change
- Additional context you choose to provide
Please do not submit
Passwords, access tokens, payment-card information, health records, government identifiers, regulated personal data, or other confidential credentials.
Information processed automatically
When you visit the site, its hosting and security systems may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This can include your IP address, request date and time, requested page or URL, browser and device information, referring page, and security or diagnostic data.
Search terms entered on the full search page can appear in the page URL. The quick-search dialog filters published content in your browser, but opening a full search sends the search URL to the site in the ordinary course of loading that page.
Cookies and tracking
Cadence Lab does not currently include third-party advertising trackers or site analytics scripts in the public website. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies when necessary to provide security, traffic management, and reliable delivery. Browser controls can be used to manage cookies, although blocking necessary technologies may affect site operation.
How information is used
Cadence Lab uses information to:
- Review a Fit Check and assess whether an engagement is useful
- Respond to questions and continue requested communications
- Understand the teams, systems, constraints, and decisions surrounding an inquiry
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website
- Detect or prevent spam, abuse, and unauthorized activity
- Meet applicable legal, accounting, or contractual obligations
Fit Check information is used to evaluate and respond to the inquiry. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a marketing list and does not create a consulting agreement.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting the practice, to comply with legal obligations, or to act with your consent, depending on the context.
Service providers and disclosure
Cadence Lab uses a small number of providers to run this website and deliver Fit Check submissions:
Cloudflare
Hosting, delivery, and security
Cloudflare hosts the website and processes network and request information to deliver pages, operate infrastructure, and protect the site.
Review Cloudflare’s privacy policyResend
Fit Check email delivery
A validated Fit Check submission is sent to Resend so it can deliver the inquiry to Cadence Lab by email. The site application does not write the submission to a separate website database.
Review Resend’s privacy policyInformation may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.
Cadence Lab does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to review and respond to an inquiry, maintain relevant business records, support an engagement, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations. Retention can vary according to the nature of the communication and the resulting relationship.
Fit Check submissions are delivered through email and may remain in Cadence Lab’s business email records and in service-provider systems according to their configurations and retention practices.
Security
Cadence Lab uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. The Fit Check validates input, limits submission size, rejects unsupported request formats, checks same-origin submissions, uses spam-screening measures, and avoids storing submissions in a public website database.
No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please avoid sending information that is not necessary for the inquiry.
International processing
Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Privacy protections can differ between jurisdictions. Providers are expected to process information under their applicable terms and data-protection commitments.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to request a portable copy of information.
You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
To make a request, email[email protected]. Include enough information to identify the relevant communication, but do not send sensitive identifiers. Cadence Lab may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
Children
This website and its services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. Cadence Lab does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the website, services, providers, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when the policy changes materially.
